One of the Hong Kong’s oldest but energetic wet market -Graham Street Market- is located in the middle of Central, gathering interesting people, unique shops and stalls with a long history of old streets. It provides the daily needs of fresh meat and food to thousands of people and nearby resturants every day.
Unsheltered wet market is one of the symbols of Hong Kong culture. It is the ordinary life of people, and the source of creativeness. While the trends falls to creative industry, why don’t we slow down our foot steps and walk along the Graham Street to learn the relationship between creativeness and daily life. In face of urban renewal, how the culture in Graham Street Market could be survive?
